I don't know the last time I rode a century. Maybe it was December of 2008, and it's been even longer for Thom.
We'll be riding this in August. I guess I need to throw in some climbing while I'm training for my HIM.

Don't know - probably not as the confirming email didn't say so. Bummer, would have been nice to have your company. I have a half day that Friday so the timing is relatively good for us.

Is that the High Sierra Century out by Mono Lake? It says they have repaved 120. I hope so for your sake - that was miserable on the Eastern Sierra Double, absolutely gorgeous ride though.

Yep, that's the one.... I've heard about the rough spots, I hope they are better too! We'll stay an extra day to mtn bike at mammoth too, I am SO looking forward to it!

Yeah, my thinking was that bit on 128 and Hwy 1. Those are pretty long and flat/rolly and that's where I will be able to make up time.
Yeah I will do Tam - but I am waiting to sign up til I complete TT. I didn't signup for TT until I completed DMD.
If I don't complete TT (I'm riding til someone tells me to get off my bike, but may not make the cutoffs), then I figure it will be a nice 200k+ and I will surely learn something from the experience.Sarah
