Two things up front:
- I'd prefer to give this to someone somewhat local-ish to Seattle. It's really not worth the hassle of shipping for me, or the cost of shipping for anyone else. Really.
- There's nothing special about this bike. That's why I'm giving it away instead of dealing with trying to sell it for the $25-ish it's probably worth.
That said...
This bike was left behind by a previous tenant. According to my landlord, she neither wants it, nor wants to deal with it. If I didn't have so many bikes (and bike projects) of my own, I might keep it around as a beater for myself, but I have more bikes than I need as it is.
It's a Free Spirit stepthrough 10-speed from Sears. Nothing special, and could use a cleaning, but everything works. The tires look ok, but the front tube probably needs to be replaced as it seems to have a slow leak. The two nicest things I can say about this bike are that paint is in good shape and it has a kickstand. Hah!
Anyway, if you live around Seattle and want it, or know someone in need, let me know. If I don't have any takers in the next day or so, I'm leaving it unlocked at a bike rack somewhere.

Freecycle it. I freecycled my old Panasonic road bike, a hand-me-down from my brother decades ago. It went to a grad student at the local state U; he was thrilled. That was some years ago. I've seen the bike in the bike rack at the Metro, so someone is still getting use out of it, woo-hoo!
