Has anyone used the iMapMyRide app yet?

I downloaded it onto my blackberry and used it for the first time today. Worked like a charm. Sorry but I can't help myself, new technology just cracks me up sometimes. I come back from the ride and hop online to map my ride and there is a map of my ride...it's like Hansel and Gretel except the birds didn't eat my crumbs. Too cool.

Saves time too, I used to spend hours mapping out my rides, no more! But it is a battery hog.

how new? the version i have is kinda lame imo. battery drain, as mentioned above, and doesn't work if you switch to something else like your camera. pfffft.

I'm not sure if it quits if you switch to camera or phone because the first time I've used it was today, but the download did say that they've gotten the bugs fixed and the app is now free. It basically gave me the same read out as my cycle computer does but the neat feature is that if you save it your map shows up on line, so I look at it like saving me the price of a seperate GPS unit. It would be neat if there was a generator that you could hook up your devices to, all that free energy produced by our legs, seems a shame to go to waste.

    The version says 1.5.2

Depends on the device, whether you can multitask or not. Works fine on Android 2.2.

I use it for short hikes and if I forget my GPS on short runs. The accuracy is pretty impressive.
