    FS: bike shorts

Okay, I went through my shorts to get an idea of what I wear, what I've been pushing to the back of the drawer....

I have 5 pairs of medium bike shorts, all like new or new condition to sell. I have a ton of overtime this week but I will try to keep updating and adding pics and descriptions as I can. As always, these are sold AS IS. The prices you see include shipping in the USA. First come first served. I will give the best description I can and if you have questions before buying, that is the time to ask.

    First up...

One pair of Descente shorts, thicker padding but not a total diaper feel. They slim down between the legs and have a side "wing" that is thinner and doesn't rub when your are riding. The widest measurement of padding across the butt is 7", the total length of the padding front to back is about 11". No pulls, the seams are perfect, worn once or twice. I realized that I like the thinner padding more, like in a tri short. $45 and that includes the shipping to the US, priority mail. I flipped the one leg edge up so you can see how it's made.

PM me to buy them. 1st one gets them.

I will add the others as I can. Like I said, I'm on a lot of OT this week. coming up will be a pair of Zoot, 2 pairs of PI, and one pair of TYR. thanks.

Well, I posted that first post from work with my netbook, waiting to start my shift. Then I went to post another during my lunch break and I had a dead battery. It didn't go into hibernate, I guess.

So, I guess now that I'm home on the desktop, I'll try to post some more before bedtime.

Oh and just to clear it up, these come from a smoke free home. But, I'm really noticing how dirty my cell phone lens must be, though. To add, the Descente pair above have an 8" inseam. In case you wanted to know. If someone outside of the US wants any of these, I will have to check on the extra shipping cost and let you know. I will pay the first $5 of the shipping, you would cover the rest.

Next up, a pair of TYR shorts. Size medium, 8 1/2" inseam. I measured the inseam from the center of the shorts, not from the edge of the chamois. So for most of us, that goes down to just above your knee. The widest spot across the padding is 4 1/2", with it being 8 1/2" long front to back. These have a silkier feel on the inside of the "chamois" compared to other kinds. They are not super thin like tri shorts, nor are they super thick like most other shorts. They really are a nice hybrid to be used either way. They are comfy with a good cushion that when walking around doesn't feel like a diaper at all. They have a draw string top with elastic band. $35 including shipping in US, priority mail.

Next up is a pair of brand new, still with the tags on, medium Zoot shorts. These are definitely tri shorts. Shorter up the leg with a 5" inseam measured from the center. These would come down to just short of 1/2 of my thigh. Minimum thickness on the padding so they dry quicker between the transitions. Padding is 6" across at the widest, 11" long, front to back. These are really cute and I got them as a gift. I just like a little longer leg on mine. I have a scar that they would rub at the leg edge. You can see these would dry quickly and at the same time, the very center is made of something akin to a very short sheepskin. It's really soft. $40, priority shipping to the US included in that price.

Next up are 2 pairs of medium PI shorts. I cut the tag out of the one, probably because it was bugging me. But, I believe that one is a Sugar and the other one is similar but slightly better chamois design. So, the specs... Both have 8 1/2" wide chamois at butt, 12 1/2" long, front to back. 8" inseam from center. Slightly different chamois, but both are quite substantially padded. If you like more padding, these are the ones for you. $25 for either pair, priority shipping to the US included, just be specific on which color chamois you want so I know which ones to send. On the blue chamois, I just couldn't get it to lay flat enough for a decent pic so I took it in two shots. I hope it makes sense when you see it. The only real difference on the outside look between them is, one has some gray stitching and one is all black. The gray stitching is on the one with the gray chamois.

Like I said, they don't look worn at all, no rubbing as far as I can tell. All are in fantastic shape. I just have enough others and realized I wasn't wearing these since I went to a specific style and length of tri short.

The first to PM gets them. I can take paypal. No checks or cash through the mail, please. A cleared paypal payment gets them sent the next day. Thanks!
