    Ramrod 2011

Well I did not make the lottery this year. But I shouldn't complain because I had a great RAMROD last year! And I met malaholic when I picked up my registration packet last July. Her and her two beautiful dogs. So malaholic this is your year! And I believe someone else volunteered last year, Lilbot. Are you two ladies getting your training rides in for the big ride this July 29th?! I had a great ride last July and I know you two will have a great ride this year!

Here is my ride report from last year's RAMROD.

And I can't wait to hear all about your RAMROD experience this year!

Well, since I didn't make the lottery I signed up as a volunteer so perhaps you'll see me this July at the packet pick up or the sandwich stop! Because I want to ride it again next year!

Tailwinds and good training rides to you ladies!

Nice ride report - I lucked out and got in this year, and your report makes me even more excited to do it than I was before. Excited, and somewhat intimidated! Maybe I'll see you while you're volunteering -- look for the woman with the helmet streamers.

This ride is definitely on my bucket list - sounds amazing.

I wanted to just say THANK YOU for having the attitude that since you didn't get in, you would provide SAG support and volunteer. I think that's a great attitude and I just wanted to recognize you for it. These rides don't happen without support.

Thank you maillotpois! I actually am looking forward to volunteering. I hope I can live up to the volunteers who worked the event last year when I rode it. They were totally awesome! And do put it on your bucket list. It's a ride that you will always remember!

And congratulations to you kfergos for making the RAMROD lottery this year! I will definitely look for you when the day arrives. I'll send you a shout as time nears and maybe we can meet and say hello and I can wish you luck and fun on your RAMROD ride.

Been a while since I checked in! Yes, I am riding since I volunteered last year. I'll be volunteering again this year...hopefully assigned to loading the trucks in Monroe again. Training is a wee bit behind due to the weather & a new job, but hope to catch up quickly.

Hope to see fellow TE-ers out there as we go 'round the mountain.

Lilbolt I hope your RAMROD this July will be as wonderful as mine was last year. I volunteered this year after learning I didn't make the lottery this year (and a very high number so I doubt I'll get in on the waiting list) so that I can do it again next year. I've done the RAMROD twice and totally loved it!
