Garmin Forerunner 305 Cadence & Bike Mount?

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305. I'm trying to decide if its worth the money to buy the bike mount and cadence or just use my computer. Does anyone else use a 305?

I have the bike mount and cadence for the 305. I don't have any other computer on my bike. I use the cadence on my bike in the trainer. We use Sport Tracks and I like being able to download my rides and compare them.

It's software you can download your data into. You can use it to compare events or just to keep track of where you have ridden.

Before I got my 705, I used my Forerunner 301 on the bike, and kept my old Cateye for the cadence. I really like being able to download the data and tracks, plus there's the breadcrumb trail to follow if you get lost. I actually used that once and it worked out fine.

I have the 305, and recently switched from the artificial wrist to the snap in mount. I much prefer the snap in mount! It has never popped out (maybe more of an issue for a mountain bike), and is very secure.

I also have the cadence meter.

I really like this combination and don't have any other bike computer anymore.

I do this, too, except I use RunningAHEAD.com, which was my running log long before I started cycling.

I actually have 2 bike mounts. One is sort of a pseudo-wrist that I use 99% of the time and the other is a mount that I can pop the Garmin in and out of without the wrist straps attached--I use that for duathlons (then I have a special wrist-strap with a matching mount, so I can pop it from wrist to bike and back to wrist for each leg).
