    I saw too much today!

I confess to thinking some of you were a bit strange when I saw posts about cycling behind people whose bike shorts had become too thin and showed too much. Can it really be that bad? I wondered.

Today, I was forced to realize yes, it can, when I found myself behind a guy who desperately needs new shorts.

Luckily he was going much faster than I was, so the insult to my sensibilities didn't last long.

Is this a milestone in my cycling career?

    Whoa...

Other than (unknowingly) exposing your rear to your fellow cyclists, how do you know when to replace bike shorts? Does the chamois wear out as well?

I've been in this situation but couldn't bring myself to say something. What do you say?

The sad thing is, I've had brand new shorts that showed just a little too much in bright sunlight.....
