    Men's cycling jerseys...for women

I have been blessed with very wide shoulders, and have always had problems fitting into cycling tops designed for women. Medium sized jerseys are generally okay, but it tends to bunch up in front because the fabric gets pulled at the armpits. Large doesn't do that, but it fits too loosely. It turns out men's small actually fits me pretty well - though I feel a little weird shopping in the men's section of a sports apparel store.

Has anyone else had this problem, or found a different solution? Would love to hear about other people's experiences!

When you're talking about jerseys, it doesn't really matter which one you get as long as you like how it fits. I personally like the look of the men's ones better because I don't like loud patterns or most with floral designs. I also prefer longer jerseys because I'm long in the torso and most women's jerseys are too short anyhow.

I wish I could wear men's jerseys...all the funny ones are men's cut. Unfortunately the elastic in the bottoms of them wants to ride up to my relatively narrow waist (women's jerseys with elastic do this, too) and the ones that fit through my boobs fit weird everywhere else.

Cali, I'd just recommend trying a bunch of different ones on and buying several of what you like the fit of, best (I wish I had the budget for more Twin 6 jerseys ).

My favorite jersey is a men's jersey. However, I buy a lot of men's clothes anyway. I actually wear men's jeans because I cannot find women's jeans that fit properly, if I get them to fit in the waiste they are too long. So I've just given up all together on buying women's jeans and close to giving up on women's slacks and exclusively buying men's jeans and slacks. I can find men's that fit perfectly. Almost all my non work shirts are mens, mostly because I love sports and most are sports shirts.

Pockets! Men's jerseys always have 3 large pockets in back. Women's jerseys have much smaller pockets, sometimes two, sometimes only one. I want the bigger pockets for all my stuff.

have been wearing mens jeans, and jerseys for years. I also wear some women's jerseys, but the majority are mens. Not only do they fit better, but I will not buy a jersey without three pockets- which mens almost always have, plus they seem to go on sale more often and are usually bit less expensive to begin with. I have a mental list of the brands and the sizes and types that fit me and then I shop on line when I need something. Mens jeans are definitely less expensive than womens.
