I love my bib shorts, but they are just a tad impractical for long rides that require a bathroom stop. I know some of the higher end ones like Assos have straps that unhook. Which other companies off this?

PI makes bib shorts with a "drop tail". The straps do not unhook, but the material separates at a key spot that allows you to take a potty break without having to take them off - I have these and they are great. PI is coming out with a second version of these for 2011 with a more advanced fabric/chamois - I went to a PI buying show this week at a LBS who wanted women's opinions on PI offerings.
TE also offers these, they have zippers.
I must admit I really liked what I saw of the new 2011 PI drop-tail bibs, but at over $200 for them I will likely just get a second pair of the less expensive version...

I own an Assos bib and the strap unhooks in the front. However, I still have to take everything off to go to the bathroom because it's nearly impossible to get the top part of the short over your head and back again under your jersey - so if you consider buying one for the comfort of not having to bare yourself completely, it's not a good choice.
I don't know if there maybe is a model that unhooks in the back too. That would be a different story.
