    LaPorte, Indiana?

I just helped move my daughter and her new husband back to his home of LaPorte, IN.

I was only there twenty-four hours so I'm sure I didn't get a real complete perspective on the area. What I came away with was very rural and lots of roads that sure looked good for cycling. Lots of cows and corn too.

Anyone here know anything about the area? I'm sure my wife and I will visit this summer and probably take our bikes.

There's plenty of riding in the area. LaPorte County has bike routes marked and maps on their website --> LaPorte Country Parks. Just scroll down to the Pick-A-Loop drop down. I've ridden many of these routes. As Mr. Bloom indicates, it is close to my home turf. What we lack in hills, we make up for with wind!
