    I saw a Pashley today!

The shop that didn't have them before now has them. I was stunned - I wasn't expecting to see them there and was literally "Wow". It was a Pashley Sonnet pure - http://www.pashley.co.uk/products/sonnet-pure.html and just seemed to be calling out to be ridden (am I anthropomorphising bikes or just getting properly into them?) Seriously though, it was so beautiful and curvy and immaculately finished. I am quite, quite, jealous of Stella2. I know what I want for my 50th birthday now, or when we pay the mortgage off (whichever happens first). It would never work on the off-road riding that I like so much, but would make such a great shopping/exploring the lanes type ride.

Ohhhh... that is a neat looking bike.. Here is the states the closest retailer is nearly two hours away, but they also sell Surly bikes too... hummmm.. Just may have to stop next time I go home to visit my parents.

That looks like the perfect bike to make the trip to the market on... but around here I'd have to carry my hardened steel lock to make sure it didn't get stolen!! Another problem is the cars that want you to go as fast as they do UPHILL. I get really nervous when I got a line of cars stacked up behind me so I will turn myself inside out just to get up the hill and off the main street.

Ruh roh.. I found a Pashley dealer here in town.. Will have to stop and check it out!!

The latter. All my babies have names and personalities. And they've all tried to bite me, little sh*ts.
