    Indoor Ironman

I'll just start by saying that at this point I'm not even half the woman that you gals are that have done a full Ironman!

I went to my gym (more of a community rec center type place) to swim on Saturday and saw a flyer for an indoor Ironman thing that they are doing. I'm totally going to do it!

It's a challenge to complete the elements of a full Ironman within 10 consecutive days. Participants sign in and their activities are tracked over the 10 days to complete the elements.

It will be challenging for me physically and just because of the time that it will take me, but I'm excited for the challenge.

The indoor Ironman can be completed from November 21 to December 10. I will be out of town for Thanksgiving so I think i'll be starting as soon as I get back. I'm excited!

That sounds awesome! I might suggest this to the management at my YMCA - they often have little challenges like this for their members.

That's a really cool idea. Get to them before they start hibernating!

    Good luck

I love that idea! What a great way to encouage everyone to get moving through the dreaded Thanksgiving holiday!!

When I read the title, tho, I just imagined doing an IM indoors and thought "NEVER!"

It's bad enough outdoors when you're moving. Can't imagine 112 on a stationary bike or a marathon on the treadmill (now the swim- I can imagine that as I've done that in a pool before).
