    miles

I've ridden over 1,000 miles since April, but I didn't log them here. Can I go back and do it?

Yes Amanda you can. If you are already on the Bike Journal, you can add miles all at once. If you are not on the Bike Journal you can join and add miles all at once. The directions on how to do that are on the journal site.

It's kind of fun- one guy just joined about a week ago and added something like 5500 miles all at once which bumped the rest of us in that category down-so if you were 125 you became 126 or whatever! THis happens when new people join. But it's a great site so I do recommend you get all those miles in!

I joined yesterday and sent of a cheque today to become a premier member. My husband got me a diary about 2 months ago and I had been keeping miles in that so I added those. It looks rather sad against some of those huge distances but I guess it all adds up.
The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

Red face Where is Bike Journal??

    Hi ladies,

I can't find this part of the site and would love to add my 2200+ miles to the number. I bought my bike in late March and fell immediately, madly in love with her and riding....after about 10 years of pounding the pavement and trails riding has become a pure joy. The good news is that I find my body is not only happier on the bike but leaner too! Please advise and I'll happily add my miles to the list.

    Thanks

    Ninas' got it:

BikeJournal.com: the membership is free and we have a team over there - Team Estrogen that you can join as your "virtual" team and log all your miles to if you so choose! (we would LOVE to have your miles - err umm - I meant You! )

As a footnote tho: the site is maintained by an individual and he would appreciate any financial help he can get to support the servers. The annual fee is only $10 and it gives you a yellow jersey and if the team maintains a 50%+ membership (did I get the % right?) we as a team get a polka-dot jersey. I would like to stress tho that membership is NOT required to be able to log there, just appreciated!

PS: Nuthatch is our Team Captain and Welcome on Board Kat!! and way to go JoBob!! yippee skippee
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Hee, nuthatch, now you know what it was like for me when I was 'captain' of team Amici Veloci for the Top Hat MS ride this past spring. I would keep raising the pledge goal, and next thing I knew, it was passed again - we had some very intrepid fundraisers on our team, no doubt about that.

    How to find Bike Journal

I want to add my annual miles but for the life of me can't find the site. Is it part of this site or another? Please advise how and where as I will be adding about 2800 miles.

    thanks,

    Jpbayarea
