Since it's summer, I've averaged 330 miles a month for the last three months. With the days shortening, that will start to taper off after October when i'll ride when I can!
I can't really give a per ride average - my commuter gets ridden more days a week than my other bike, but my Fuji sees more miles per ride than the commuter. I guess I'm lucky since I ride for transportation AND recreation!

I average about 25 miles 3 - 4 times a week (sometimes longer - up to 50), It comes out to between 60-100 miles a week. I've only been riding about 1 1/2 years. My first road/hybrid bike (Specialized Vita) had about 1500 miles on it when I sold and replaced it with my road bike (Specialized Ruby). My Ruby has about 2800 miles on it now. It's hard to believe that I am capable of this! I had not ridden a bike since I was in my 20's (I'm 58 now). My physical condition is so much improved. I feel like I'm 40. I'm not rushing to train for centuries, although I think I will be able to work up to a metric century soon. I think I could do it now if it was somewhat flat. Since there are so many hills in the Santa Cruz Mountains, I've never really done any flat rides.

I generally ride twice per week during spring, summer and fall. Weekday post-work ride is usually anywhere from 10-25 miles, depending on what kind of shape I'm in and when the sun sets. This is usually a very hilly ride. Weekend ride is longer -- 30-70 miles. Most weekend rides are 40-50 miles.

I don't ride more because I try to get in cross-training, including weight training 2x per week.

I'm managing about 30 miles a week but I'm working loads at the moment. When things calm down with work I'll try to get more in. I tend to do 2 short rides during the week, and one on a Sunday morning.

I wish I could do more! All I seem to do is work, eat, sleep and repeat these days!

I try to ride 100 miles per week year round. There tends to be about 6 weeks that I don't even come close due to weather, but most of the time, I'm within 10%. I very, very rarely ride over 40 miles in a day.

my commute (3 times a week right now ) is 8 miles. Then I do a longer ride on saturday or sunday. This week it was 50 miles...

I don't always do a long ride on the weekend.

I asked to make sure i am riding enough. I ride 4 days a week and have worked up to 30 miles a day. I feel like i should be going faster than i ride and i can't break my average of 15-17 mph. Any suggestions?

This year during warmer cycling season has been less than last year: average of 200 kms. per wk.

Last year I was averaging 250-260 kms. per wk.

Then in winter it drops as low as 40-50% per wk.
I wondered briefly why I had stretched bike chain and worn gears. Yea, right: dummy me with all this riding..

200-250mi/week during the racing season. About 75 of these miles come in the form of intensity workouts or racing, 50mi of active recovery, and one long steady group ride/week (50-120mi). Since the racing season is winding down, so will my intensity. But that means that I will get to do more endurance rides and up my weekly mileage!!!! . . . it has been a long hard season, and while I have enjoyed every minute of it, I am sooooo looking forward to some long relaxing rides in the countryside :-)

I ride between 500 and 700 miles a month; just a bit under 5000 total miles for this year, so I will probably reach 6000 miles for certain before the end of the year. I also work out at the gym for core and weights, walk, hike, jog at the college track now and then, sometimes I do cardio machines at the gym ... It was hard to achieve the level of cardio endurance that I now possess, and I don't want to lose it, so I keep going, even in the cold and rain. I am trying my hardest to burn off the last of the excess body fat I have and it isn't coming off easily, but I remain motivated. By 2013 I would love to do the charity park-to-park tour in Montana sponsored by CASA, but I need to weigh less to do that amount of climbing over one week.

Just started 2 months ago and ride 60 miles a week. Hope to start riding longer now that "hell" (AZ) is starting to cool off!

In July I had 800 miles, in August I rode 860 miles, so in the summer I average 200+ a week. I would say 100+ is more like it for the winter and "off" seasons.
