Bike Envy Rears it's Ugly Head...

It all started when I saw some Cannondale bikes on sale at REI and noted that they were actually nicer than my current bike and not quite as expensive. Then, later that week, someone on TE mentioned that her hubby had picked one up for her as a rain bike! Seeds of discontent were planted, and I found myself browsing, browsing, browsing for no darn good reason. Later I stumbled on a website called Giantnerd which carried a line of bikes I'd never heard of called Tommaso. The bikes ranged from similar to mine to sexy racing beasts made out of spiderwebs with full durace componentry. Well, long story short, The Tommaso Velocita caught my eye, falling, as it did, within a certain desirable profile of sexyness, speedyness and price, and after a week of obsessively returning to the website to look at it, I bought one! It arrived yesterday and I am just blown away. Delivery was free, and for 60 bucks it arrived fully assembled and tuned. It is light as a cough and so speedy and beautiful. I can't believe I have such a nice bike!

I didn't want to come across as a shill, but, dang, there are some purty bikes at purty prices; just had to spread the word. (and the discontent)

Congrats on the new bike! Woohoo!!!

And thanks for mentioning GiantNerd... great prices I am sure you will love your new bike

I totally understand about bike envy. I've been wanting a Scott CR1 Team for several months and thought I'd kinda gotten over it. Then while out riding today I saw a girl riding this gorgeous Cervelo and whammo, from outta nowhere, bike envy reared his ugly head once again

    Enjoy your new ride!
