DH's New (barely used) Road Bike

DH was in dire need of a new road bike. I gave him a budget, a very miniscule one, but with 2 kids in daycare, he's lucky he got a budget at all!

Getting with the times, DH managed to get this bike on trade for a kayak with paddle and a sprinkling system.

It was built 3 years ago by a friend of ours. He was in a bad car accident and his injuries have left him unable to ride. Fortunately, he's in good health. He can hike and kayak, but riding is unbearable on his back He's finally coming to terms and decided to sell. It's sad, but at least it's going to a good home.

That's a smoking hot bike, limewave. I hope your husband enjoys it for a long time to come.

I'm sorry to hear about the circumstances that caused your friend to consider selling it. Has he tried a recumbent yet? My Dh has tried his friend's catrike and said it's wicked fast. He said if he ever can't ride a traditional bike, he'd get himself one of those.

    Nice ride!!!
Glad the hubs got a nice ride- and for a trade, no less.

Ok- that made me laugh "I gave him a budget, a very miniscule one."
That sounds like something I would say.

    OK, I'll say it.

Why would a kayak need a sprinkler system?
