    MKS Grip King pedals

These pedals are calling my name. http://www.rivbike.com/products/show...g-pedal/14-053

My Waterford thinks they would be classy and would look nice with her other silver bits, and harmonize nicely with her gold paint. (she'd rather have them than a pair of burly BMX pedals like the rest of my bikes, as she is a fine upstanding lady and a bit of a prima donna at times)

If I get them, I'll drill them for pins (I've got lots of pins for my BMX pedals) because I really like the fine-tuning I can get with pins.

But the big question is: they look pretty and elegant in the catalog, how are they in person? I'm all about the looks right now. Anybody got 'em?

I have them, and LOVE them. They are a.k.a. MKS Lambda pedals. I bought them to eliminate a hot spot on my foot. They work well in all weather, are comfortable, very well-built and I think they look good. After seeing mine, my favorite LBS ordered them in as a regular stock item.

Do a quick google search, they look like they're about $20 cheaper if you don't buy them from Riv

Yeah, and Amazon *is* a local business in my neck of the woods. But I'll call my LBS and see if they can order them for me. I'd rather give them the $$, and they usually give a little discount off MSRP in these situations.

Edit To Add: Oooh, they've got 'em in stock! I'm getting them tomorrow! http://freerangecycles.com/

    Got 'em!

    They are BEEEOOOOTIFULLLLL!

Switching pedals on my bike was a snap (love my Inline long-handled pedal wrench and my tube of green Phil's grease!). They look classic and elegant on my lugged bike, I'm very pleased. This evening I'll take a ride and check out their grippiness. I just couldn't wait until after I put pins in... I want my instant gratification and I want it now!

Anyone out there with pedal angst: go get a really good pedal wrench and a tube of heavy grease. Life is too short to go without knowing how to change your own pedals!
