So today is my husband and I's 15th anniversary. We occasionally like to go out, mostly like to stay in and cook but wanted to celebrate somehow. Step back to 3 p.m. and me returning home from work. Me walking in the door...seems kinda hot in here,hhhhmmmm. Walk over to A/C thermostat, wow it says 81 degrees. Our heat index right now in Miami is like over 100. I punch the thermostat...nothing. AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH. Cue the front door... husband walks in, gee ... seems kinda hot in here..."yup" i say. Walk outside and see the fan blowing but no cold air coming out. Really... seriously? Mess around with the thermostat, nope, not working. Call the landlord, he calls the A/C guy who "can't make it tonight". He says it sounds like the coils froze. Just turn the system off for a couple hours and let it defrost.
Cut to 6 p.m., Papa Johns just arrived with a HUGE pizza, husband pouring red wine, fans blowing, dogs and us...panting. Happy anniversary honey!

The thought has crossed our minds. Three dogs... now I have to take tomorrow off and wait for repairman. We just took the thing apart and the blower is shot. No cold air for us!

It's 54 degrees here. I've got the heat on, and have been wearing a wool turtle neck with a sweater over that, long pants, and wool socks in cowboy boots all day.
Can I have some of your excess heat?
