I took the B17 off my mtb. I just can't get comfortable. The LBS is going to get in the B17S for me to try. I didn't want such a short saddle but I think my sitbones are on the frame of the B17. I hope the S will be better.

What do your sitbones measure out at? You might want to consider the B68 (non-sprung variant of B67). Many of us ride it on road bikes because we need the width.
I have the B67 on my commuter. I love it! I was trying to avoid such a wide saddle on the mtb, but I might reconsider.
