    Louis Garneau sizing

    Hi everybody,

I've been lurking around reading the forums a bit and I had a question that I thought you ladies could help with.

I'm looking for a jersey that is on the longer side. I saw the "tall" section for shopping, but it really doesn't offer much in the way of variety. I was wondering if you find the Louis Garneau cut to be longer, shorter, or average? I'm specifically looking at the Skin-x, but I'd imagine all of their cuts are the same for the most part. The way clothes fit is oddly important to me. E.g., I often will bring an extra shirt places with me in case the one I'm wearing gets stretched out. So I can't just buy a larger shirt so that it will be longer. The bagginess would drive me insane.

Does anybody have any of the jerseys and can tell me what the length is like?

    Thanks in advanced!

    Long. Very long.
I was so excited to find an LG outlet when we were up in the White Mountains a few years ago. Every jersey I tried on in an x small came, no joke, down to the top of my knees.
I did buy a couple of casual, technical fabric type shorts and t-shirts, but the bike clothes were a no- go. If you are tall, it will be perfect.

Really? That's good news. I mean I don't want them down to my knees, but I definitely want them to be longer than every jersey I've tried on. I just want a jersey that comes just past my hip bones while seated.

Well, I am a speck over five feet tall, so they probably won't be down to your knees.

I found a store (an hour away) that sold the LG jerseys and I didn't find them to be long. But it would make sense that you would. I'm a good 6 inches taller than you, so you get all of that extra length! I don't know if LG has XS, but I found the Small kind of loose compared to other Smalls as well.

I did try on one of the Luna Jerseys and they were a little longer than all of the others I've been able to try on. Just thought I'd share that for anybody looking for a longer jersey. But keep in mind, I am 5'6", so if you're taller, they mightn't be as long on you. I also didn't find a big difference from once size to the next in terms of tightness (they were all slightly loose), but they got longer as you went bigger. I didn't buy one at the store, but I think I'll order one online.

I have the Breeze jersey and it is hands down my favorite! I am 5'6" and the medium hits between my hips and pubic bone. Perfect. I actually ordered another one as a spare because it is the best fitting jersey I have ever had.

I think some of the other jersey's may be a tad shorter than the Breeze.
