I just got my first road bike (unless you count the Kmart 10 speed I had in the 80's) and wasn't comfortable with the slick tires they came with - all the sand from this winter's snow storms ends up on the sides of the roads and in the bike lanes.
The guy at the LBS showed me some MTB tires that he said would fit my bike, but they only had one in stock, so I bought a couple online figuring I could switch them out myself.
I got the new tires and tubes on the wheels, but when I put the wheels back on, the new tires are larger and they rub against the brake calipers.
Is there an adjustment I can make that will keep this from happening? The bike is a Fuji Finest 1.0. http://www.fujibikes.com/Womens/Sport/Finest10.aspx
I think the one at the link is the same as mine, so I think the brakes are Tektro R-310 Forged alloy, Dual Pivot.
Thanks!
