    3/21 rides

20 miles on nice, familiar roads into Acton and a bit of Stow. I am taking the approach of not pushing myself until April comes. Once I get some base miles, I will work on speed and some intervals. Distance/endurance is less of an issue for me. It seems to be working, since I notice my hill climbing speed is going up without much effort, as long as I purposely keep my speed on the flats lower than I might.
SheFly, was that you we saw on the tandem, on Concord Rd.?

Not today. Home sick. Tired, lazy, congested. did a reasonably big ride yesterday in the warm temps though, and ended up dehydrated and sunburnt . Are we sure this is mid-March????

Glad you got out for a ride. Sounds like rain for a couple more days - just what we need around here.

I really wanted to take a rest day, but when I saw the forecast, I figured I'd better ride today while the weather was still nice. I just did 22 miles, but there was an exhausting headwind, and I feel like I climbed a mountain.

It is a beautiful day in Utah! I did a 23 mile club ride this morning. It was just gorgeous.

It's supposed to be 50 here today - just did a quick 14 mile loop with my brother...first time with the road bike out in 2010. Blue sky, cardinals chirping, and a raging Mississippi River at St. Anthony Falls. It felt great.

Did a 70-miler today with three great guys and had my personal best average. It was a beautiful ride and they treated me to lunch afterwards.

I woke up at 5 a.m., took a look at the radar, rolled over and went back to sleep. By the time yoga class ended - about the same time the club ride would have been finishing up - we got a couple of sprinkles, then it stopped again. So I decided to take my commuter bike to the grocery store - hey, three miles is three miles. As soon as I paid for my groceries and walked out of the store, that's when the rain started.
