More on mtb cycling apparel but for women.

I was trying to figure out the tone of the lst paragraph.

The tone of that first paragraph (and other parts of the article too) is pretty snotty..... perhaps she feels threatened that other women are not embarrassed to be seen in "crotch hugging spandex".

I've posted a comment, but they are moderated, and I've criticized the author, (I wasn't inappropriate, just critical), so we'll see if it gets through.

Guess, certain folks of certain cycling groups like to distinguish themselves as better, or more "edgy"/hip/not part of mainstream (which is dull, in eyes of some folks, embarrassing).

Really, even the fanny pack wearing cyclists aren't bad either.
Tribal attitudes do nothing to advance cycling. Including type of cycling clothing.

As long as person can cycle safely and comfortably in their clothing.

The first paragraph is silly. Is the author suggesting that cyclists should carry a complete change of clothes with them so they are never seen off the bike in tights? If you stop for coffee, do you change clothes and then change back for the rest of your bike ride?

I'll bet this writer owns a car and has no concept of bikes as actual transportation. I think I'll submit a comment to that effect.
