    Smile declared good to go!

Whoo hoo! One month to the day after being brushed by a trailer full of lawn mowers and yard care tools being pulled by a pick up, I have had a follow up CT scan and a consult with a neurologist and been told that it is " ok for me to go back to the activities I regularly enjoy as long as I don't do any heavy lifting or straining." Oh fie, does that mean I can't use my brain?

I spent a happy hour this afternoon fitting my new helmet, checking out BeBe, cleaning the chain, checking tire pressure and putting on her new name decals so I am ready to ride tomorrow.

I start back with the trainer on Monday with a weigh in and measurements so here's hoping that it isn't too disasterous. I have tried to be good but.... I think the hardest part will be getting up earlier and on a schedule instead of being able to sleep in. who knows, maybe the time off and the heavy cardio intervals I have been doinng for the last week have actually made me a bit stronger.

Back in the saddle again yee haw!
