we just got it this week: a treadmill. Saved up for it and all (you know; like people used to do in the old days before credit).

Asammy- I hope you find a job for Christmas.

I got my xmas present today. It was a North Face Venture rain jacket. I had a rain jacket for 10+ years, and I gave it away 2 years ago because I shrunk out of it. Since then, no hooded jacket that would keep me dry.

I got it today because I volunteered at a Girl Scout thing hosted by the store (they also host our bike club) and they gave me $20 store credit for volunteering. Had to strike while the iron was hot.

If money were no object, these are some things I would love to own:

A Nikon D90 digital SLR camera
The best GPS I can find, but I'll prolly get all I need in the Iphone next year.
    Some cooking stuff.

    This year we're having a low-key xmas.

Priceless xmas wishes, for me and those I know...

To be wealthy with: health, love, happiness, and peace.

    Material things...

Tunes & bici stuff helps facilitate some of the above.

A FHI Haridryer, new sleeping bag and Itunes gift cards.

DH and I aren't giving each other gifts since we just went to Seattle. I am keeping it small for everyone, probably baking a ton of cookies.

For me, I don't know. Maybe a pair of prescription sunglasses for cycling...expensive, but they'll last for a while, since I'm now at a point where my prescription doesn't change from year to year. BF will come up with something small, creative and perfect again, as usual. Last year he got me a
    Build-a-bear coyote wearing a tuxedo.

    For other people...
I've been assembling the box I'm sending to DBF since July. He's getting a collection of random things that have meaning to us, plus a pair of hand-knit socks. He's so hard to buy for, since he's rather...picky and has expensive (but good) taste. So I go the silly route.

I have no idea what to get either of my parents... I think I'll make dinner a few nights while I'm at home. That should surprise them!
