    Jerseys for us tall ladies??

    Hi ladies,

I'm fairly tall, 5'10", and I'm having issues with jersey length. They're fine when I'm standing, but then as soon as I get on the bike and lean over to reach the handlebars, I get a couple inches of skin sticking out. It's not such a big deal now, but I can imagine it being a bit chilly in cooler weather

So far I have one Performance jersey that's long enough, and I've noticed that Cannondale definitely is not. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

You might consider trying men's jerseys?

I have the opposite problem, though.

I'm 5'9" and find that my short sleeved Primal and Canari jersies have the best coverage, lengthwise. My Shebeests (both long and sleeveless) tend to be average length, but adequate as does another Canari sleeveless ... My Bell jersey is very skimpy. I agree that men's jersies would be larger ... but we've got such cute things to wear, why not wear our own stuff ... Have fun shopping.

Makes for an interesting, strange tan spot on your lower back, doesn't it? This is another plea for manufacturers to notice the needs of women riders. Why isn't there a nationwide women's association of cyclists who can represent us to all those vendors?? Or is that what we are here at TE?

If you can fit in race-cut jerseys, try Hincapie's. I'm shorter (5'4") but I have noted that they are really longer in the back than other jerseys I own. BUT you have to fit your hips in there (there's an elastic at the waist). Definitely not for everybody, but it's certainly worth checking out their sizing chart.

I got the Velo Bella team jersey and I really love it.
