Oh, that is WONDERFUL. Made me want to go do it myself!
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks

Loved that! Reminds me of my cute little Golden mix, Lucy, who can hear moles in the yard, but rarely digs them up. You can see her jumping around, just like that elk, stopping and listening, looking at the ground, jumping in circles, just frolicking with the mole. I went out one time and lay down in the grass with her and I could hear the mole crunching through the grass roots, and then I saw the lump of dirt come up just like in the cartoons. If you don't know what she's doing out there, it's pretty comical, and goes on for more than 15 minutes at a time.

He is so darn cute! I liked how he kicked up the water and then just took off.I was waiting for him to come back for the final big splash but he had other things to attend to.
