Ok, am just curious now...for those of you who do have cellphones and Blackberrys that handle your email, how often do you really check it/use it on a daily basis? Maybe limit that to outside of working hrs.

I have a Blackberry and am totally addicted. Constantly checking to see if my little light is blinking for either an email or text. But I'm of the internet generation, so it seems totally natural to be "connected" at all times. As a matter of fact, last Friday the data on my phone wasn't working (internet and emails), and I felt completely lost, despite the fact I was at work in front of a computer

When I'm traveling, I forward my email to my iPhone. Otherwise, it's faster to type on a computer.

I don't read email on mine, but I do frequently use text messages and and the organizer features. I spend a fair amount of time out of the office, and it's the easiest way for me to stay on top of things.

I don't even have a job, but I use mine constantly. It blinks all the time (mostly about Facebook and I haven't figured out how to turn that off).
I decided to get a BB because a co-volunteer of mine was always so available, just because he had it. It makes my to-do list so short, because I handle things as they come (most of the time.

I'm required to have a BB for work. When I'm working or traveling for work I check it pretty frequently. Even if you turn off all the audible or vibrate alerts for emails, I haven't found a way to turn off the blinking red light when you get a new message, and it's pretty hard to ignore that.
On the other hand, I have absolutely no cell signal at my house or for miles around, so I can't check it there. Even though I work from home when I'm not out visiting customers, I have to say that's not such a bad thing.
