I'm glad to hear that they also felt their quads burn on the false flats of that trail. I was pretty miserable riding back to Meyersdale this past Monday, using my small chainring on what appeared to be totally flat trail. Not to mention, there's a reason there are wind farms on every ridge out thataways.
That guy must've been seriously over-loaded to have such a wobbly ride with so many crashes. The area heading into Ohiopyle is the best stretch of the GAP that I've been on and not at all scary."How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."
