    Hamstring pains

Just rode in my 1st century and I felt ok, though did cramp up a little in my calves and hamstrings. Closer to the end, I started to feel a little discomfort on my inner thighs at the top. A few days later, it started to feel more uncomfortable in my upper thighs and when I went to do a leg press, OUCH, I couldn't even budge the thing without a bit of pain. Now it hurts to do squats or bend to pick something off the floor. I'm supposed to do a 25 mile ride tomorrow and I was wondering if I should. Someone said I might have microscopic tears in my upper thigh (especially hurts in the inside of my right thigh). Any ideas as to what might be happening, what should I do about it and if I should ride tomorrow (I did do 2 spinning classes and it hurt a little, but I'm worried I may be doing more harm). Thanks!

Sounds more like an adductor than a hamstring to me--adductor magnus maybe. It could be strained or have trigger points--are there any places that are especially painful to press on?

Thanks for the responses and I do think you both may be correct. Never thought it could be the adductors. I ended up doing the 25 mile ride today in 40 degree raining weather (in other words, miserable!) and when I was finished, I felt better. I can squat without much pain and walk though am a bit hesitant to try the leg press at the gym. Just hope there is no delayed pain and I feel it tomorrow. Thanks SadieKate for the link to the forum on the adductors, I'll be checking it out right now.
