I think summer's back. This isn't necessarily a bad thingbut I wasn't expecting warmer temps all of a sudden! Perth had a really wet "winter" and started to give up on warmer weather. I thought i'd never get away from the rain clouds...
Well, I can taste summer and am fully aware of the possible summer temps.

Yep I wish we could ease into summer and not jump from cool to hot in a matter of days.

I'm envious of you. I began a week's vacation yesterday just in time to enjoy a winter preview here in the mid-Atlantic US-- Chilly, almost continuous rain, and a mix of rain and snow where I'm headed tomorrow.
So much for seven days of cycling through colorful autumn leaves

Gotta still go, I have a non-refundable hotel reservation. At this point, I'm planning on a hiking vacation instead of a cycling vacation. That's what I used to do way back when I first began my annual trips out thataways, so this'll be like re-visiting the past.
And, yeah, hiking in the rain isn't bad. Unless it's also below 40 degrees fahrenheit, which is what's forecast for Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are on the fence with temps in the 50's, so I may make an impulsive last-minute decision tomorrow morning and throw the bike in the trunk (gently, of course).Last edited by Kalidurga; 10-16-2009 at 07:49 AM.
