    Amici Veloci jersey - whoopee!!

Spazzdog has been working her little paws to the bone so please send her a few treats. Based on my inarticulate and rambling requests, she's created a wonderful preliminary design that is veddy, veddy close. While we know the Voler art department will make some more changes based on their experience we thought we'd get this out there for the world to see.

Plus, here's our new blog spot, www.amiciveloci.org !!!!
We've got a lot of team members that aren't part of this wonderful TE forum so now we've got a place to keep them up to date on our happenings and, in the future, Amici Veloci tattoo and jersey sightings.

The order form should be posted in the next few days and I'll add the link to the blog and post it here. Miss Snap is in charge of collecting orders from anyone and everyone who is so inclined to join us. Our current order deadline is August 22nd though this may change a bit as Voler is a tad behind on the women's club cut jersey (not their fault - the manufacturer of the lycra used in their shorts in going out of business which has impacted their whole delivery cycle).

On the women's club cut - it will have no elastic in the hem, a slightly shorter length, and will flare a bit at the hips. The bust will be adjusted slightly to better accomodate our curves. I tried on prototype #2 on Monday and it fits really nicely. Sizing info can be found at www.voler.com.

Oops, once last thing -- the secret message on the inside of the pocket will be "Another hare racing story" to go with our collar message, "Embrace your inner tortoise," as coined by Veronica.

    New Jersey design

I love it! Thank goodness someone realizes that women's hips don't like those jerseys with elastic at the bottom which makes them ride up and create bunches in the middle. I can't wait to order mine and thank you for your creativity. Love the puns too!

Thanks, JP! I see you've recently joined our ranks. When you get the chance introduce yourself in the "Getting to Know You" thread. There are more and more northern California members so we sure hope to see you on a ride sometime soon.

I just did a bit more sleuthing and this matches up with her questioning the elastic hem in the email. I hope this is right. Anyone know her personally and know how to get in touch with her?

Yo amici velco ladies??.........I'm paying right now for a jersey and a pair of arm warmers but...........the order form??......do I need to fill that out and mail it to snap??

I know I sound like a dodo (my friends affectionately call it "meno-brain" syndrome) but it just feels weird to pay for something without also submitting something! lol

How do I pay you using PayPal???................waaaahaaa this is just wayyy too new to me! LOL

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Well, for a bunch of non-propeller heads, we got higher tech than we ever imagined, but automating the order form itself was beyond us.

Be sure you email Snap every bit of info that she needs - gender, style, size, quantity, mailing address - and you don't need to fill out the form.

    Wind shell Vest sizing

The order form says that the Wind Shell Vest is Unisex sizing. But on the Voler site, the size chart for the wind shell vest shows mens and womens sizes.

    Men's medium - Chest 38 to 40
    Women's medium - Chest 34 to 36.

SadieKate -- What size wind vest do I wear? You told Voler that I would be the "problem" child, so I'm just trying to live up to my reputation.

And, you're doing a very good job.

Unfortunately, the outer wear stuff is only "unisex" which really means mens' sizing. I have called Voler's attention to the fact that their website is confusing.

How's that spreadsheet coming? You've only 44 1/2 hours left to procrastinate.

You would only need to worry if I and my household of scoundrels were accepting the money .

Will you gals be posting or emailing some sort of confirmation that you got our orders? I mailed my order in last week, and my brother might have been mailing his in too.

And I forgot (pre-meno moment), when do we actually receive the jerseys?
