Would you buy a saddle on eBay?

I need a new one, and I'm on a budget...so I looked on eBay and I'm very tempted. What do you think?

I have 7 or 8 times. And have sold some 2-3 times.

It beats paying full retail. Lots of females go through saddles fairly rapidly in their quest for the perfect ride - what doesn't work if they can't return it goes on ebay.

    Have done it many times.

<Scratches head, trying to remember if she has...>. Yes, I would, and I've sold a few on Ebay. I've certainly bought other bike bits on Ebay, mostly with good results (my current seatpost was an Ebay purchase, and while it's quite functional, I would say it's quite a bit more scratched than the description suggested -- just cosmetic and in my case it's actually all below the insertion line, so it doesn't show, but I was mildly peeved -- I think that's my worst experience so far).

No problems buying a saddle on ebay, just make sure you read everything in the description to be sure of what you are getting. And if you are not certain, be sure to ask questions

I bought and sold many items on ebay for a few years!

Sadie, have you tried 'em before? I've got one that I haven't used in a while. It's definitely not pristine or brand new looking, but I wouldn't ask much for it. I can take pics if you're interested.

I'm very interested, thank you. The one on eBay is at 26.00 and ends tomorrow at 10pm. I expect some activity at the end. It's also $8.00 to ship it, so that adds up.
