Nice! I have a Surly and love it. In my case, I whistled and it came to me. Enjoy your new ride.

I definitely wasn't whistling; grousing about still being banged up from a crash 3 weeks ago maybe, but certainly not whistling.
Sweet! Do we get close-ups?
What in the world is that front tire?!

I'm so envious. Been wanting a Cross-Check, then finally took a good look at the geometry and realized it's not for me *sigh*
That front tire is tons of fun. Congrats and enjoy!
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

Random babblings and some stuff to look at.
Cool bike! My Surly is giving me fits right now - having trouble getting a seatpost that's far enough set back. Anyone know of a non-carbon seatpost with 35mm of setback?
The front tire is the Panaracer Speedblend that used to be carried by Rivendell. They can be seen here: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/org/quickbeam/index.html
