Fiber Flare lights? (Aussies, look here please!)

I've been looking around for some side lighting and am very intrigued by these Fiber Flare lights. It looks like the tail lights are available in the US through J&B Importers, but I can't find how to order the green side lights, much less how much they are.

It looks like they're an Australian company. I've fired off some emails to Fiber Flare and to J&B but, in the meantime, are there any Australian folks here who can tell me how much these things are or how to buy them?

Also, has anyone actually seen these in action or used them? Opinions welcome!

    Many thanks in advance!

These might be an alternative that you can get locally. I bought some at costco.

I use 'em biking and kayaking - I don't really know how long those batteries last as I've never had to replace them. And I don't know how they compare for brightness... They do have a flash mode.

I did have some kayakers one night tell us that they could see us a long ways away with them on.

I saw something similar at Home Depot too. Pretty cool, but I'm hoping to find something that uses AA or AAA batteries so that I can use rechargeable ones. I might pick up some of these for now, just to tide me over until I can get something rechargeable.

I hadn't commuted for over a week until today, and I was shocked by how much darker it was this morning. I was hitting potholes and debris left and right! It's definitely time to put the big headlight on the bike.

Maybe these are easier to find?

I don't get out early enough in the morning for darkness to be a problem - but it will shortly be a problem for my evening rides.
