    Clothing question....road bike, cold weather

My first winter purchases for road bike clothing....question......so many of the tights/long pants do not have chamois.....I need one....do you wear these over riding shorts, under riding shorts....very confused. My knickers have chamois..long pants ordered do not.

your riding shorts (w chamois) go next to your body. add anything else over your chamois garment.

You've already invested in bike shorts that you like... and you can wear tights over them more times without washing. If you commute 3x per week, you could buy 3 tights with chamois ($$$), or one without (and swap shorts each day).

You can even get (gasp!) warm non-biking tights, and save even more money.

if you wear wool, you don't have to change every day.

I realize sheep wear the same wool for like a whole year but seriously...

    LOL...

chamois short first then everything else go over.

If you are not going commando in which case, chamois short is over panty then every thing else over it.

    life is simple.
