Back when there was only one REI in the world, and it was here in a fairly informal part of Seattle, they had a great piece of graffiti.
It was sprayed on a wall in a parking lot REI shared with a small art space (I think it was a little theatre):
"What wonderful memories I'd have if only I were more adventurous."
I thought it suited both the artists and the outdoors folks quite well!

From Barcelona. Wonder why I loved it there?
Maybe that one was intended for illiterate delivery drivers?
I like the little excitement coming out of the spout.

Maybe, but it made me want a cup!
Here's a beautiful horse.
This one's from Valencia. Apparently I let DH shoot the opposite panel and I don't have a copy of the image. This side is the city as the artist would like to see it. The opposite panel is a grim, but equally well-executed, vision of the city as the artist sees it now.

Most of the graffiti I see here is on freight trains. Anything else we get it pretty hideous, tags by pseudo-gang members. There have been a few times I wished the train would stop so I could take a closer look.
