Hi ladies, I'm new to road biking. I've been doing spinning classes at my local gym and frankly they are getting a bit boring. My co-worker (and close friend/cube buddy) has been cycling for years and he talked me into giving it a shot. I just purchased a 2009 Trek 1.5 T WSD and I'm psyched to start riding it!
I'm located in Upstate NY, and I'll probably be looking for some group rides once I get more confident with it

Welcome to TE. It sounds like you have been bitten by the biking bug. I was just thinking today how much of my thoughts are focused on cycling and I didn't start riding seriously until last September. I can always count on the comments here to inform and they usually have me laughing out loud.

Welcome! I checked out the 1.5 when I was looking for a new road bike last month. That's a really nice bike.
