    My Deathride experience, the video!

My boyfriend compiled this for me:
    http://vimeo.com/5609038

Luckily, he didn't include the segment where I was cussing and swearing at him, but you get the general idea.

That's great video gnat. The clarity of the moving shots are impressive and good editing job. If your boyfriend did the shooting and editing of this video of you, it really is a true act of love.

So he was on the bike too when you were filmed cyling on the bike???

It's a wonderful visual record of your accomplishment..and his also.

It was indeed. Tho at the time, when he kept dropping me and zooming off into the distance, I got really mad at him. I didn't know he was going to do that much filming and not so much of the real-time conversation. At the time, I almost killed 'im. Now, I'm grateful for the video evidence!

But yes, he's a superstrong rider himself. He finished the Transrockies MTB race, consistently does well in crits, and a mere week after Deathride he's off to France for Tour l'Etape to go cruise up Mount Ventoux. Yowza. I feel like I've finally hit the point of fitness where I can just roll out of bed and ride a relatively flat century, but I have yet to get to where I can do something like Deathride with no warning, and one-handed to boot.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments! Now go write your favorite mantra on your handlebar tape (it's like a temporary tattoo)!

    Yowza indeed!!

Any chance he'll be filming his l'Etape experience? If so, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love a link to that.

Video, most excellent. That is very cool. I'm tired just watching. Heck, I was tired when you were driving up a hill in your car. Congrats on the great accomplishment!

that is incredible. How DID he do it?

And how do you ride and not look all sweaty? Serious. That and your cheerfulness, swearing aside.

That is a fantastic video, thanks for sharing.

Fun video. Great job! I also can't believe you did 129 miles on what looked like a Specialized Toupe saddle. My butt would have been screaming from the saddle at that distance.
