    interesting MaggieH

I thought I would start a new thread as not to go so way off topic on Cat's updates.

I loved reading about your daughter's trip and viewing the pics. Thank you for sharing it.

It is so nice to read about all the other cyclists tours. My husband and I have never been on one, but it is goal for us in the future when we can begin to sit back and enjoy life more than working constantly.

Emily and her husband also had a great tour last year that made for great reading along with wonderful pics.

I think I would want my first tour to be with an organized group and just for 5 days or so. I want it relaxing an enjoyable.

and we want to hear about it!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

I've not toured either, but I've spent a lot of time surfing organized tours. My avatar was stolen from this European site The one in southern Poland strikes my fancy. "ancient trade routes"
