Anyone has experience with that one?

or another of their handlebar bags?

Did it work well with your drop handlebars?

    Thanks!

I don't have that bag but just wanted you to consider that carrying an SLR on a handlebar bag or on the rack can vibrate lens elements and mirrors out of alignment.

I don't have that bag... but it only carries 5 lbs. My slr's on the hefty side, and I wouldn't trust it in that.

Well it's not working out anyway because Detour can't ship it fast enough for me to get it before my trip.

The SLR is probably going to get a bit shaken up anyway but it's either that or having only the POS (which sits in my husband's jersey pockets). I'll probably figure out a way to wrap it and put it in my Carradice saddle bag...

Did you look, perchance, at Topeak's little square handle bar bag? I have a larger camera (not an SLR) and it works fine for me. A lot of bike stores carry it.

I kinda liked the look of the Detours better so I was curious to your replies. For example, the Topeak has a waist belt I never use. The belt makes the little side pockets (they're on the belt) almost useless. But the detour has nice little pockets to store snacks and such.

Yeah, I'm still thinking about that detour bag and others, too. I might get one when I return from my trip, and report!
