    Thank You all

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on these chat forums. I had a rather nasty road bike crash over 2 months ago, from which I am still recovering, still sleeping in a recliner, still alternating between all emotions ranging from positive thoughts to feeling sorry for myself. I am mindful of my doctor telling me that I am lucky to have come out as unscathed as I have but sometimes I just get sad and angry. I will be back on my bike, eventually, aiming for indoor in about 2 weeks and back outside in about 6. The reason for this post is to just thank you guys for all of your posts. I have spent a lot of time not being able to sleep in the past couple of months and my trusty laptop has kept me company, as have all of you. Whenever I am struggling I jump on TE and read away until sleep comes. It dawned on me tonight, that I am just being rude, not registering and peeking in checking you all out, kind of like spying, or reading someone's diary without permission. I thought it best to fix that and register. So really I just want to say Hi and thanks so much for helping me through my recovery. You guys have all helped me big time and I have enjoyed finding you and learning that there are so many women out there to chat to about stuff I like to chat about.

    Again, thanks for the company

Welcome to TE! we don't think you're rude at all. It usually takes SOMETHING to get a person to start posting.
Lots of people lurk here, you'd be surprised how many there are that do not post.
Tell us about yourself, how did you get hurt so badly? (there might be some learning for you to share with us!)
