    Did GMR today!!! :)

I did a milestone ride today. GMR (Glendora Mountain Road) is a common climbing ride around these parts. Dh does it all the time and it's been one of those rides my riding buddy and I have been planning to do for a while now. We almost did it twice, but both times didn't because of an issue with me. (Not recovered from previous hard ride or sick). So, today was the day we finally conquered it! And we didn't just go to "the shack" as many people do, and turn around. We kept going and did the whole thing to Mt. Baldy Road. It was 43 miles with 4425 feet of climbing. The most I've done since the Solvang Century in March, which was about the same amount of climbing and the most I'd ever done in one ride ever. This time I did that much climbing within a 34 mile stretch. I'M AMAZING!!!!!!! Hee hee!
