    Online ride log

    Anybody using bikejournal.com?

I was using it right after I got my Terry, but I got lax about keeping it updated, plus I haven't been on the bike for over a year due to a combination of me getting pneumonia and then me hurting my shoulder hauling my parental unit around in a wheel chair.

I'd like to start again though. It's got a nice mapping feature as well as the ride logs.

TE has a club on bikejournal. Lots of us use it. If you don't already have another primary club, you can contribute to our total mileage!

Uh, yeah, pretty sure I have to actually ride to do that though, LOL!

Hopefully will be on the road again soon. I haven't ridden since about July of 2007, since right after that I got coccidiosis/pneumonia/pleurisy/bronchial spasms, and then by Spring of 2008 I had injured my rotator cuff which turned into frozen shoulder which is only just now remitting in the last couple of months.

excuses excuses. But I'm working on it!

    I'll look it up.

I've been using MyCyclingLog.com...which connects to my facebook...which is where I add most of my rides.

I think I used to have a bikejournal page but MyCyclingLog is always free They're also working on an ipod app for it.

This is too cool! Thanks for the link, I just signed up and recorded my first ride
Can you go back in time and add older ones to keep all the stats together? I used to keep track of my workout on a spreadsheet... old fashioned, I know...

I added myself to TE groupo on bike journal (I hope to ride my 80-100 miles a week).

I have been on bike journal for a few years. Txred, 80-100 miles have been my goal for those few years, but something in life always seems to get in the way. I hope it happens this year

I don't mind paying the $20.00 as I like to lurk on that forum also and it takes time to keep up a site like that. I do not think that is Slanz full time job.

OK, I'm in. It's still free if you want (*WHEW*)

I'm redundant and use two: http://www.mycyclinglog.com and I've also started using http://www.dailymile.com

I'll have to check into the bikejournal site. I also use http://www.gpsies.com/ to upload and map my rides from my gps.

Hey Heifzilla, thanks for the Daily Mile suggestion. I've been looking for an online log for multiple sports. I've signed up for Beginner Triathlete multiple times, but the interface is so kludgy and awkward I've never been able to get into using it. Daily Mile has a much better interface -- I'm going to give it a try. Do you find that the features are adequate? One thing I noticed is that while it allows you to log weight workouts, it looks like you have to enter the details in the "notes" section, which isn't the best for tracking progress... But I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

    Thanks!

I have only been riding 10 weeks now and I had to basically make time for my health (after cancer).

Someone whom I respect greatly asked me "how much time is your health worth"? and it really got to me and so I made the change. I am finding it easier and easier (most days!)
