The overall placings were pretty much determined by the time trial, but from what I read during the race tickers (they're in Spanish and I'm barely literate in English), he tried to attack in yesterday's mountain stage. That is, attack Contador in Contador's element. So, yeah, it looks like his season could be interesting.
