I would highly recommend visiting Steamboat for some great mt. biking. there are tons of trails that are easily accessible right from town. Great diversity of terrain. The elevation here is not too high compared to other colorado resort towns....about 6700. cool laid back town, too.

I was wondering where you were located in CO! I'm a Crested Butte native, recently (6 months) transplanted to Austin, TX. As I melt into a puddle in the Texas heat, I find myself feeling mighty homesick lately

i'm from Steamboat. it's very north/west Colorado. i'm actually going to Cretted Butte this upcoming weekend for the Wildfire rush race. ...if i'm feeling better.
