Has anyone tried any other DVD series?

Has anyone tried any of the other DVD series besides Spinervals? I've been checking out Endurance Films dvds (www.endurancefilms.com) and the Epic series (www.epicplanet.tv) but it's hard to tell much from the short trailers. I like Coach Troy, but sometimes I want a different coach. Any suggestions?

    Indoor cycling DVD's

I have been using the Epic Planet and Global Rides DVD's in my Indoor cycling classes. The members really enjoy them and they are a welcome switch from Tour videos.

My trainer came with a Chris Carmichael Mountain Biking dvd, which is about an hour of high-intensity interval training. Don't let the "mountain biking" thing turn you off to this dvd if all you do is road riding. These intervals are tough and really get you lungs in shape fast! I recommend this one, but haven't tried any of his others, so can't comment on those.

I have a Chris Carmichael one...just not sure which one. It is pretty good. Mine sounds similar to yours...just not mountain biking.

I just ordered Spinnervals HILLacious...since I will be hitting some hills near Austin, TX and I live in the flatlands of Florida!

My husband and I are fans of the Carmichael Training Systems (CTS) series -- we use Cycling for Fitness, Cycling for Cadence, Cycling for Power, Climbing 1 and 2, Race Simulation, Time Trial, and Criterium (my personal favorite). Check out Amazon or trainright.com for descriptions and choose the ones that appeal to you. They pack a great workout into about 60 minutes each.

I have the Chris Carmichael Time Trial one. I didn't like his style and the overwhelming number of times that he mentions that he trained Lance.

I agree that Chris Carmichael is annoying in the Time Trial workout (and he really does mention Lance ALL the time!!). However, many of the other DVDs in the CTS series are great, and some have different coaches leading the workouts.
