    January 24th Rides

I decided to ride to the ride.
I was pretty cloudy so no pics
Wound leading the short ride - not bad
Stopped by the bank, cashed some checks, and rode home for 36 miles.

ROAD AROUND HERE WAS WET TILL ABOUT NOON. OVERCAST, LIGHT BREEZE.

    AND THE AIR WAS CLEAN!!!

Having a fresh chain made a world of difference in the ride Yippeee!!! Shifted clean. No skipping. Just smooth drivetrain. Happy cat.

It rained for about 30 minutes, and off and on all day. I don't melt

    Fredwina, you're riding! How nice.

Oooo! doh! That's right. Fredwina is back on her bike. "Fredwina 0, car 1" thread. How are you feeling beside not melting in the rain? I just read some of the thread. Wow. Its. been over two month and only a week since you've started to ride again. Congratulation. Another reason to have multiple bikes.

    Many more happy miles,

    Finally Finally Finally!

Joe and I finally got outside on our "REAL" bikes and rode on the road. After 2 months of spin class at my gym it felt WONDERFUL to be outside again and on my bike. It was 37 degrees and cloudy but no rain and no fog and no snow! Joe and I got 30 miles on our ride. I am stoked! This morning I woke up (it's Sunday the 25th) and what greets my eyes . . . SNOW!
But I am sitting her watching the news and they say a high of 41 with sun this afternoon? Hmmmmmm
