    It feels like Spring!!

Here in the Southwest we finally have high temps of the low 50's!! There has been pleanty of sunshine. Yea!! It makes me sooo happy. I can't wait for warmer temps.

Not only that, I think my bike shop has been really busy. So people are out riding. The other is that the new arrivals for TE are spring and summer wear. It is so good to think that it will be coming.

    Enjoy your rides

Hi Red Rock - talk about confusing! Yesterday we had sunny and dry 86 degrees - that's here in coastal California, famous for rather coolish and slightly foggy-ish summers. I went into the grocery store and saw beautiful brussels sprouts, and thought, gee, odd to see a winter vegetable now...then realized that now is winter! (It's a produce store 1 block from the beach with an open front - so it really felt like summer!) Our warm winter days are often nicer than anything we get here in the summer. Confusing - but in a nice way!Carol

We've had a very mild weather, more like spring for the past several weeks, to the point trees and shrubs are starting to bloom out. And now WINTER - or at least what passes for winter along the Gulf Coast. Have had frost on the lawn in the morning, day highs only in the low 50's. Bbrrrrrrr. I expect no sympathy from those that shovel snow.

Quit rubbing it in! It's supposed to be about 20 here with 20-30mph winds. Tomorrow we'll get a few inches of snow. Friday it will be in the teens with more, though not as strong, wind. I wore my riding tights for my walk from the train this morning. The wind block panels kept my legs happy.

I'm with NoNo. It's currently 17 here. The predicted HIGH temp on Friday is a whopping 6, or 2 in Maine where I will be. Yes, that's Faherheit, and yes, it's before the wind chill.

    Don't mind us - we're just jealous

I'm not. I want some durn snow and unseasonably warm weather wrecks crops. I like my fruits and veggies. And I want to ski right now.

    There. I said it.

Who wants to join me in a dance to the Snow Gods (of course to deliver snow only where appropriate - like not Seattle and Portland)?

Then I guess you don't want to know that at 8am here (now) its 18'C/65'F, sunny and no wind... I'll go for a ride soon before the UHF "danger zone" gets here. Gonna be a pearler!

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

Actually, I'm a winter person. Next month, for no reason other than it's there, my car club is driving to Moosonee, Ontario. It's our annual Arctic drive, that in past years has brought us to Hudson Bay (east side), Labrador, and Newfoundland, always to the end of the paved road. It was -40 (which we found out was the same in C and F ) and I stood outside for an hour to watch the aurora. When my friend called last week to book the hotel, the manager said "You know that's February, right?" There's probably something wrong with me
