Threads from 08 that you've found coolio!

Is there a thread from this year in TE land that has:
1-Amazed, wowed, frightened or bewildered you?
2-Made you get off your behind & do something you've never done before?
3-Made you laugh til the cows came home?
4-Allowed you to fix something on your dear bike that you;ve never fixed before?

    It's a thought for a friday night

The 100 pushups challenge got me to do more pushups than I have ever done in my life. I amazed even myself! My upper body strength has improved tremendously. I never would have done it without TE.

The pushups were fun, but might be why I'm STILL in a wrist brace, so my vote is the Link the Photos thread. I just started reading it yesterday, and was blown away by how creative and brilliant some of the connections are. Just amazed by it. I'm only up to page 30, so I've a ways to go!
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.

The 100 push ups is the one for me.

It's the first formal fitness programme I've actually stuck with - although I am currently stuck on the final day of week 5

And yes, that is how you spell programme

Now if I could just get motivated to do more cycling. I don't like cycling in the rain - which is not a good attitude for a Scottish person.

I too love the Link/Photo thread. I'm also glad to see Thread Drift resurrected in its original, everyone-is-welcome, truly drifty form. And for me personally, the PNW Tri Novices thread was a funny, fabulous little journey over time to a totally new venture for me. For me that thread was a hoot, and an inspiration, and a support group, and a way to track and be amused by the development of a tiny little community of training buddies here. And we will forever owe Wahine a little for that one. I love Ironman threads because I will always be impressed by people who do those races.

I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure."
